From the Desk of President
The journey started with the establishment of Genesis(S/IL/6175) of 2001, mother concern of Edugate Teachers’ Training Institute, with a view to help the poor & down-trodden of the society to donate blood for patients, books for poor students etc. Special thanks given to those who helped me like enzyme in this field. On its long journey, a number of voluntary activities have been done . In 2012 , Edugate Teachers’ Training Institute has been established with the recognition of NCTE , Govt. of India vide order No ERC/7-141.6.10/NCTE/D.El.Ed/2012/13883( ERCAPP/689 ) and affiliation of WBBPE, Govt. of West Bengal with an intake of 50 students of D.El.Ed course . Now intake of D.El.Ed is 100 and new B.Ed course has been started with 50 students with the recognition of NCTE order no.-F.R.213.6(i).119/ERCAPP4189/B.Ed./2016/46369 and affiliation of Vidyasagar University .
The result of the college in previous years is glorious, but the accidental death of Sanket Dutta, a D.El.Ed. student and Purna Chandra Sahoo , Accountant , mourned us deeply. The scenic beauty of the inside and outside of college campus is quite different from others and it attracts the students as well as the visitors at a great extent. The co-operation of students , guardians , local people , local administration , faculties and non-teaching staffs with the management makes the college environment adaptive for the students to enhance their social, cultural and environmental development for their future life . Again, thanks to all , to co-operate with us for the well being of the Institution.
